About Agora

Agora is an open-source BYOK Android LLM client. Conversations are stored on your device and model requests go directly to the provider or endpoint you configure.

Features:

* Nine provider types: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen/DashScope, OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama, and local GGUF models; custom OpenAI-compatible, Google, and Anthropic endpoints

* Tree-structured conversations with editing, regeneration, and alternative branches

* Token-budget context management and non-destructive Compact capsules

* Agentic tools for web search, memory, conversation RAG, image generation, MCP servers, Tasks/Loops, and remote shell/file operations

* Durable Conch jobs plus SSH devices; Conch uses application-layer encryption when an API key is configured

* On-device llama.cpp inference and local embeddings

* Versioned .agora ZIP import/export, ChatGPT/Claude import, and automatic backups

* Material 3 UI with configurable thinking/tool presentation, fonts, haptics, and 12 interface languages

External providers and tools receive data only when you use their feature. After a crash, an anonymous diagnostic report is stored locally and sent only if you explicitly confirm on the next launch. See the in-app/user-manual privacy documentation for exact destinations and backup security.

What's new in 2.1.0

* Skills: reusable Markdown instructions with on-demand access and backup support * OpenAI Responses API, native web search, and source citations * Structured prompts with provider prompt caching * Local models: official chat templates, tool calls, KV cache reuse, and idle unloading * Automatic embedding backfill and faster access to large conversation histories * Expanded backup controls and ChatGPT branch import * Requires Android 8.0 or later
