About Artificial Koi

A truly live wallpaper: glowing koi, jellyfish, mantas and other creatures drawn from tens of thousands of points, each one computed from a few trigonometric formulas. Nothing is pre-rendered; every frame is calculated on the fly, so the creatures swim, breathe and twist without ever repeating exactly.

The creatures were inspired by the parametric "tweet-size" generative art of digital artist @yuruyurau.

No special permissions are required. No ads, no tracking, no network access.
