About Feltbok

Feltbok is an app to quickly log bird sightings in the field, and later export them to Artsobservasjoner. Does not require logging in or an internet connection.

Features:

• Quick entry of observations in the field

• Easy export to Artsobservasjoner

• Optimized species lookup: type one letter to find your bird

• Map view to choose site

• Fetch your private sites from Artsobservasjoner

• Create new private sites

Feltbok is made for use in Norway, and the interface is in Norwegian only.

What's new in 1.3

• Show co-observer party at the top to help remembering. • Emphasize parent sites (dark green dots) on the map. • Support for hiding sightings until a given date. • Several small fixes and adjustments.

How to install Feltbok

  1. Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
  2. Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
  3. If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
