About GeoJoystick
GeoJoystick is an open-source Android mock-location joystick for emulator and developer testing.
It uses Android's standard mock-location provider flow and provides a small floating overlay for moving a mock location without repeatedly switching back to the main app. It does not try to hide or bypass Android mock-location status.
Features include manual coordinate entry, an OpenStreetMap-based picker, map-link coordinate import, compact and expanded overlay modes, favorite locations, speed presets, custom speed, light and dark themes, and English/German language support.
GeoJoystick has no ads, accounts, subscriptions, analytics, billing, or built-in updater.
What's new in 0.1.5
- Added 15 additional UI languages, including Arabic RTL, Korean, and Chinese. - Added two-finger pinch-to-zoom in the map picker. - Added optional explicit place/address search with fail-closed error handling. - Improved enlarged-text, narrow-width, and localized layouts.
How to install GeoJoystick
- Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
- Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
- If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
