FAQ

Will an iOS version be available?

No. Due to technical limitations, iOS does not allow third-party apps to write to the SMS database.

Why export to SMS?

SMS is a universal, device-native format. By converting chat histories to SMS, you get a durable, open-standard backup that isn't locked into a single proprietary app.

Why the name?

The name stands for Instant Messenger to SMS. It reflects the app’s broad support for multiple IM platforms beyond just WhatsApp.

Can group chats be imported?

What's new in 1.6

Fixed a minor issue where if the app was left as the default SMS app, there was no prompt to set the current SMS app back to default.
