How it works

Meron syncs your mail and feeds through a shared Rust core for speed and reliability.

Your accounts and messages are stored encrypted on your device.

When you enable sender images, Meron sends a SHA-256 hash of each sender's email address to Gravatar and, as a fallback, the sender's domain (and, if needed, its parent domain) to DuckDuckGo.

What's new in 0.4.5

- Add setting to quote the original in replies - Warn if a thread is already in Tasks when adding it - Float the thread and message reader bars with frosted content underneath - Add icons and unify the message menu

How to install Meron

  1. Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
  2. Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
  3. If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  4. Open Meron from your app drawer.
