About Primitive FTPd

A simple FTP and SFTP (SSH file transfer) server. Allows to exchange files with

other machines over WiFi. No more USB cable searching. Runs without root

privileges and is not started when device boots: Control yourself when the

server runs. However, while it runs it prevents standby to avoid long uploads

and downloads to abort.

How to install Primitive FTPd

  1. Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
  2. Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
  3. If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  4. Open Primitive FTPd from your app drawer.
