About Puzzle Press
Puzzle Press is seven small puzzles in one app, and a fresh set lands every day at midnight.
Wordrow is the five-letter word guess, six tries. Clusters hands you sixteen words to sort into four groups, and a few of them look like they belong in two. Heptagram gives you seven letters and every word has to use the one in the middle; there is a hints panel for when the last few words won't come. Minigrid is a 5x5 crossword you can finish over coffee. In Wordweave the theme words hide in a grid of letters and one of them runs all the way across. Edgeways puts twelve letters around a square and asks you to chain words until you have used them all. Sudoku is sudoku, with pencil marks and undo.
Each game has easy, medium and hard, and each one is its own daily with its own streak. Missed a day? The archive goes back to launch. Finish a puzzle and you can share how it went without spoiling it for anyone.
There is no internet permission, so the app never touches the network. No ads, no account, no tracking. Your streaks live on your phone and nowhere else.
It is free software (GPL-3.0-or-later), and it also runs in any browser at puzzlepress.munzzyy.dev.
What's new in 1.0.4
Your streaks now stay off Android's cloud backup entirely, matching what the listing has always said. A direct phone-to-phone transfer still carries them. Also fixes a quiet failure where the wrapped app tried to register the website's service worker.
