About QRshare

A lightweight app to share links, contacts, and text through QR codes.

Share a link, contact, or text. Then select QRshare to generate a QR code.

Modify shared text by editing in the text box.

Tap and hold on the picture to copy the QR code to clipboard, edit the text, or share the QR code.

* Make corners consistent with the text box radius * Enable sharing non-text files to QR share - see note below * Upgrade AGP version --- Note: Due to the limitations of QR codes + XZing library + encoding, only files smaller than 1KB can be encoded. Larger files will not work, and will lead to a blank screen or ANR (App Not Responding) error.

How to install QRshare

  1. Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
  2. Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
  3. If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  4. Open QRshare from your app drawer.
