About Sift

Sift is a minimalist recipe keeper. It uses AI to extract just the recipe from a website, leaving out ads and long stories. You get a clean, easy-to-read recipe.

- Import recipes from any website using AI by connecting to a LLM provider

- Add recipes manually

- Edit and organize recipes with custom tags

- Local-first storage, your data stays on your device

How to install Sift

  1. Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
  2. Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
  3. If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  4. Open Sift from your app drawer.
