About SoundAura
SoundAura is an open source ambient sound app. It does not include any audio tracks to save on download size, but allows users to add local files from their device and play any (reasonable) number of them concurrently, with individual volume controls for each track. SoundAura can also switch between an audio focus respecting mode, and a 'play in background' mode that ignores audio focus rules and allows SoundAura to play audio alongside other apps.
What's new in 1.6.4
Fixed any changes to the active mix causing every track/playlist to restart playback. Fixed tracks/playlists with a volume boost applied crashing the app when playback begins.
How to install SoundAura
- Tap Download — the app's official page on F-Droid opens.
- Install it with the F-Droid app (recommended, for automatic updates), or use the download button on that page.
- If Android asks, allow the F-Droid app or your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
- Open SoundAura from your app drawer.
